Raymond W. Pratt, age 79, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Serenity Hospice House with his family by his side. He was a member of Landmark Church of God. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Judy Ann Pratt; parents, William and Gracie Pratt; sisters, Carolyn, Pauline, and Mabel; and brothers, Roy, J.W., and Kenneth Pratt. He is survived by his son, Ray (Jodie) Pratt; grandchildren, Ashley (Chad) Burgin and Austin (Kynzi) Pratt; great-grandchildren, Bella Burgin and Carter Burgin; sister, Lorraine Bennett; special nieces, Sherry, Darlene, Rhonda, Donna Kay, and Sandy (Shannon) Walters; and several other nephews, cousins, and friends, including special friends, Jim and Linnie. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care and Serenity House. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at Landmark Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Ray Pratt and Rev. Billy Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 17th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Westside Chapel Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
