Rev. Jack William Arwood, age 79, of Morristown, went home to Heaven on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Jack was a faithful minister of his Lord Jesus Christ for fifty years and served the last thirty years at Victory Baptist Church in Knoxville. He will be greatly missed by his family, church, and friends. He believed that “to live is Christ and to die is gain.” He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years, Teresa Arwood; and his son, Richie Arwood. He is survived by his son, Rusty (Lori) Arwood; grandchildren, Kourtni (Randy), Abbey (David), Will Russell, and Bailey; and his great-grandchildren, Carson and Katherine. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, May 13th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Henry Brown and Rev. Scott Lee officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14th in the Mausoleum at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Jimmy Inman officiating.
