Richard Anthony Hazelwood, age 50, of Talbott, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was saved and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Richard was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He loved his wife, family, dogs, classic Mustangs, and working on old antique trucks with his dad. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Mary Hazelwood; and grandfather, Lee Ray Wolfe. He is survived by his wife, Alisha Hazelwood; daughters, Kaylee Hazelwood and Mary Faith Hazelwood; step-daughters, Taylor Schubert and Madison Schubert; parents, Ralph “Brushi” and Brenda Hazelwood; grandchild, Foster Anthony Lenz; brother, Mark (Mary) Hazelwood; grandmother, Virginia Wolfe; nephew, Josh (MaKayla) Hazelwood; niece, Caroline Hazelwood; special friend, Marie; and many friends and extended family. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12 p.m. Sunday, June 13th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
