Richard J. Petroff

Richard J. Petroff, age 77, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was born in Queens, New York and grew up in Monroe, New York graduating from Washingtonville High School in 1962. He met his wife, Linda Mae in High School when they were fifteen and they were married on May 14, 1964. He joined the military in 1962 and was stationed in Thailand, Hawaii, Florida, Turkey, California, Korea, and Nebraska and retired in 1984 as MSGT. He worked for the Federal Government until he retired in 2002 and moved to Tennessee in 2004. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Josephine Petroff. He is survived by his wife, Linda Mae Petroff; sons, Christopher Petroff, Randy Petroff, and Michael (Shari) Petroff; grandchildren, Krystal, David, and Michaela; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Julian, and Jax; sister, Sonia (Bob) Bush; brother-in-law, Andrew (Fran) Seaman; and nephews, Keith, Richard, Drew, and Brian. We will all miss you. No services will be scheduled. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
