Ritchie Lea Roberts, age 64, of Talbott, entered through the pearl gates of Heaven and gained his wings on Sunday, September 5, 2021 after a courageous battle with COVID. He was met with open arms by his parents, Phillip and Wanda; and his brother, Ricky. He loved to play guitar in his younger years, and was a band member. He recently retired from GE Medical Systems and loved to travel in the RV, sometimes, for months at a time, especially to Melbourne Beach for the winter and family vacations. He loved fishing from the beach with family and friends, golfing, watching Western movies, and collecting eagles. He was outgoing, easy to approach, and never met a stranger. He was a great provider and so generous to give, never expecting anything in return. He was wise with his words, easy to forgive others, and loved his family unconditionally. He was perfection. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Roberts; mother, Wanda Roberts; and brother, Ricky. Left to grieve his great loss is his loving wife, Sue Roberts; son, Shawn Roberts; daughter, Jamie (Randy) Lowe; grandchildren, Rilea Lowe and Tanner Lowe; sister, Vicki Gilbert of Belding, Michigan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and in-laws, not to mention several special friends. Our hearts are broken but we know he is no longer suffering and struggling to breathe, but is now at peace. No services will be scheduled upon his request. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
