Robert Lee Carter

Robert Lee Carter, age 54, of Morristown, was called home on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Roe Junction Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Robert was a loving son and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lloyd Carter; and brother, James A. Carter, Jr. He is survived by his parents, Nona Walker Chandler and Boyd Chandler; half-sisters, Diane (Rick) Wampler and Jamie Carter of Greeneville; and uncles and aunts, Richard (Tracy) Carter, Charles (Virginia) Carter, Lemuel, Alma, and Barbara Carter, Linda Choate, Robert (Georgia) Walker, and Ernie (Sandra) Walker; special friends, like brothers, J. Clint Hurley, Rodney Ricketts, and Cecil Rines; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all our friends for their prayers during this time. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 7th at Roe Junction Baptist Church for graveside services with Dr. Ernie Walker officiating.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
