Robert D. Fraser, age 86, born in Detroit, MI on January 19, 1938, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Serenity Hospice House. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 – 1961 onboard the USS Midway that is now a museum in San Diego, CA. He was interested in flying and got his private pilot’s license in 1967. He was a draftsman for Hughes Aircraft for twenty three years. He was a big fan of hockey and chess. Loving the California climate, he spent forty years there before returning to Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton J. and Ann M. (Barrette) Fraser; brother, Richard B. Fraser; and former wife and mother of his children, Evelyn E. Griep. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Rudy) Klein; and son, Brent Fraser. No services will be scheduled. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
