Robert "Meater" Frank Jacobs

Robert Frank “Meater” Jacobs, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Heritage Center. He loved to golf and watch the Lady Vols. He worked for Winn-Dixie Super Market for forty eight years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelbia Jacobs; parents, Mans and Ann Jacobs; son, Curtis Jacobs; and sisters, Phyllis, Ruth, and Faye. He is survived by his son, Timothy (Sharon) Jacobs; daughter, Kristi (Adam) Conn; grandchildren, Robert, Joey, Logan, and Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Doodle; brother-in-law, Mike Dietz; nieces, Mikki and Mandi; and many special friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 22nd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 23rd at Hooper Cemetery in Cullowhee, North Carolina for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
