Roger D. Feltman, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at Tennova Hospital Turkey Creek in Knoxville. He was born in Sibley, Iowa and raised in Southwest Minnesota on a dairy farm. After graduating high school, he went on to do many different things starting with joining the U.S. Navy and serving twenty years. He retired as Chief Petty Officer. He moved to East Tennessee where he built his home and started his own construction business, “Valley Home Builders.” After many years, due to health issues, he had to retire. He then went on to becoming a tax preparer with Jackson Hewitt for eight years. Roger was a member of Panther Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna Feltman. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Linda Stewart Feltman; step-daughter, Jane Cross of Arlington, VA; brothers, Don and Jim Feltman; sister, Barbara Nelson of Round Lake, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to ICU at Tennova Turkey Creek for their care and concern during his time there. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 24th at Panther Springs United Methodist Church. Receiving of friends will be from 2 – 4 p.m. prior to the service.
