Roger Shepard Obituary

Roger Dale Shepard, age 59, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024 at his residence. He was a member of Holts Baptist Church. He lived life to its fullest. He loved riding dirt bikes, ginseng hunting, and looking for arrowheads. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Lora Shepard; parents, Marshall and Rosa Shepard; daughters, Kara (Austin) Lefevers and Chelsie (Tyler Colley) Walker; son, J.D. Ward; step- son, Tristan Dean; First wife, Marilyn Jinks; grandchildren, Camden Lefevers, Adyn Walker, Bryson Walker, Dellah Belcher, Zaylee Ward, Stuner Ward, Zander Ward, and Jackson Ward; brother, Doyle Shepard; sister, Roxanne Shepard; very special aunt, Jody Blizzard; aunt, Kay Parton; special cousins, Danny Mills and Dwight Blizzard; and special friends, Joseph Williams and Kevin Henry. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1st at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Nathan Hodge officiating. Family and friends will meet for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Friday, August 2nd at Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
