Ronald Gene Lawson

Ronald Gene Lawson, age 71, of Morristown, born April 30, 1949, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020. He was saved at Davis Chapel Baptist Church and was a member of Alpha Baptist Church. Ronald was the owner of Over Home Auto Sales in Morristown. He enjoyed his life on the farm where he raised beef cattle. Even though he had been weak recently, he took care of his cattle till his surgery. He loved his days driving his grandchildren on his tractors and being outdoors. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lillian Lawson; and infant brother, Dennis Lawson. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Judy Lawson; daughter, Rhonda Lawson of Church Hill; and grandchildren, Madison, Donovan, Kovan, and Kendin, whom he loved dearly. Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 31st  at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Dr. Ronnie Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be Dennis Horton, Earl Mullins, Steve Owens, Tony Moore, Eddie Roberts, and Hunter Rouse. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Kilgore, Billy Castle, James Sizemore, and Bill Taylor. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
