Ronald Dwayne Seal

Ronald Dwayne Seal, age 86, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Friends of Hospice Serenity House . He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Charlsie Seal of Morristown.  He never had a loss for words or a warm greeting for all. 

Dwayne retired from General Electric in 2005. He previously worked at Berkline and American Enka, which later became BASF Corporation. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, the Lions Club, and Masonic Lodge 231 of Morristown. 

Dwayne was an avid golfer and loved playing golf with his son, Stacy. He was a member of Clinchview Golf & Country Club, where he enjoyed playing with many of his longtime friends. Dwayne was a faithful supporter of Tennessee Football and also enjoyed coaching the Little League Astros' Baseball Team. 

Honorary pallbearers and special golf buddies are Carroll Blazer, Mark Horner, Bob Mahan, Charlie Martin, Jimmy Scott, Aaron Wilson, and Dennis Wilson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Ina Seal; and son, Stacy Daniel Seal. Surviving family include his wife, Charlsie Seal, Mark (Joan) Horner, James (Libby Dec.) Horner, Quentin (Tina) Seals, all of Morristown, Darlene (Gary) Roach of Sevierville, Opal Greene of Sneedville, Linda (Kenneth) Holt, Betty Davis, and Mike, Kathy (Philip Dec.) Greene, Tina (Dennis) Wilson, Tammy (Ricky) Holt, Chris Walton, all of Morristown, Vonda (Carl) Wolfe, and Shirlene (Jim) Davis of Bean Station. 

The family appreciates the special care he received at Friends of Hospice Serenity House and Caris Hospice Health Care from the staff and volunteers. 

Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22nd at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.
