Rosalyn (McBee) Bishop

Rosalyn Bishop, age 86, of Whitesburg, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her residence. She attended Shady Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Love McBee and Anna “Annie” Weidner McBee; son, James Bishop; grandson, Elijah Bishop; great grandson, Ethan Bishop; brothers, Wade McBee and Clarence McBee; and sisters, Cecil Gray and Dean Williams. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, L.N. Bishop; sons, Chris Bishop, Chucky Bishop, Billy Bishop, and Jeffery Bishop; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and best friend, Veronica Brown. The family will receive friends 5 - 7 pm Monday, October 23rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Monday with Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Family and friends will meet for an 11 am graveside service on Tuesday, October 24th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
