Ruby E (Bryant) Moyers

Ruby E. Moyers, age 87, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Signature Assisted Living in Jefferson City. She was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her church family and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Bill” Moyers; daughter, Sandra Hannah; daughter-in-law, Denise Moyers; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Mike Moyers; daughter, Billie (Stan) Mayes; grandchildren, Jennifer Gibson, Lori (Chad) Smelcer, Dusty Moyers, and Resha’ Moyers; great-grandchildren, John and Beth Goodman and Reese and Bristol Moyers; brother, Calvin Bryant; sisters, Ruth Ann (J.D.) Rogers and Edith (James) Southerland; and son-in-law, Bob Hannah. Special thanks to Signature Assisted Living and to Amedysis Hospice and Kalynn for their wonderful care and love. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. O’Dell Davidson, Rev. Sonny Davis, and Rev. Ricky Dinkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
