Russell M. Reedy

Russell M. Reedy, age 101, of Morristown, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Regency Retirement Village. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-one years, Annette Reedy; daughter, Tina Lucille Reedy; sisters, Cotella Clark, Edna Mosley, Lucille Wilson, and Della Perkins; and brother, Richard Reedy. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Jesse) Monroe; grandchildren, Monica (Clark) Rucker, Tracy Monroe, Jennifer (Steve) Moore, and Jessica Bivens; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Josue Martinez, Alex and Rae Rucker, Bonnie and Hayden Moore, Tyna Thomas, and Jack Bivens; and great-great grandchild, Reed Rucker. A private military graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with VFW Post 5266 and Rev. John Fultz officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to VFW Post 5266.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
