Ruth Maxine (Maynard) Sherrod

Ruth Maxine Sherrod, age 81, of Talbott, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her residence. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Sherrod; parents, Floyd Mack Maynard and Iva Trapp; and sisters, Carolyn Clark and Marie Niswanger. She is survived by her sons, Floyd Sherrod, Donald (Etta) Sherrod, and Walter (Wanda) Sherrod; daughter, Barbara (Bobby) Boley; special friends, Kent and Karen Hightower; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
