Sally J. (Shepard) Miller

Sally J. Miller, age 79, of Morristown, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 3, 2021 after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Miller; parents, Mack and Mable Shepard; in-laws, Emmit and Ossie Miller; brother, Hank Shepard; and grandson, Jared Robertson. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Brody) Robertson and Sandra Miller (Chuck); grandsons, Shaun Williams, Dustin Robertson, and Reese Robertson; great-granddaughters, Evelyn Williams and Sophia Robertson; brothers, Clifford (Sue) Shepard and Melvin Shepard; sister-in-law, Shirley (J.R.) Gorman; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Heritage Center, Regency, and Smoky Mountain Hospice for their care of Miss Sally. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to First United Methodist Church of Morristown. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 7th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Walter Weikle officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
