Sammy “Sam” Sexton, age 75, of Morristown, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a proud veteran of the United Sates Army. Sam owned and operated Sam’s Market and Deli. He loved his family, community, and his country. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Ollie Mae and O’Dell Wyatt; daughter, Sharon Leming; brother, Jack Sexton; and Virginia Ellis. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Crider, Amy (Andy) Mitchell, Chrissy Sexton, and Lori (Daniel) Leal; grandchildren, Keith Crider, Alex Mitchell, Ellie Mitchell, Lucian Leal, Ryan Cobb, Josiah Leming, Andrew Leming, and Autumn Leming; brother, Jim (Sandy) McNeill; sisters, Thelma Sexton, Patsy (Richard) Faulkes, Judy (Wayne) Baldwin, and Rachael Bowman; special friends, Mary Leming, Trish and Gary Carter, Ray Lane, Randy Coffey, Smurf, and Chris Cody; and several nieces, nephews, and numerous other friends. Family and friends will meet for a 3pm military service on Friday, January 8th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
