Sandra Kay (Johns) Owens

Sandra Kay Owens, age 68, of Morristown, departed this life on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at her residence and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Sandra worked at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System for fifteen years. She loved life and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Dana Johns. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Lamon Owens; sons, Mark Owens, Johnny (Nana) Owens, and Anthony (Miranda) Owens; grandsons, Elisha, Noah, and Jaxon; sisters, Verla (Mack) Locke and Jacklyn (Billy) Helton; special friend, Marie Yount; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, September 14th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Interment will follow at Yount Cemetery in Sneedville.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
