Sandra "Diane" (Nicely) Haynes

Sandra “Diane” Haynes, age 75, of Morristown, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 30, 2022. Diane was of the Baptist faith and originally from Washburn. She was one of eight siblings and her family meant everything to her. Her greatest joy in life was being around children. She was a natural born mother. She felt her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her two girls. Diane was a giving person and kind to everyone (unless you made her mad!) She had a wit that couldn’t be matched and was loved and will be missed by all. She was employed at Hamblen County Health Department for several years and also worked at Grand Court Assisted Living prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Haynes; parents, Doyle and Evelyn Nicely; and brothers, Bobby, Johnny, Ricky, and Danny Nicely. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Jackie Haynes; daughter, Jacqueline (Stan) Hickey; brother, Woody (Jenny) Nicely; sisters Patricia Seal and Terry Nicely; her most precious and loved fur babies, Zoey and Buddy; and many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, dear friends, and neighbors. “In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one will ever fill.” The family will receive friends from 10 – 11:30 am Friday, June 3rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 am with Rev. Toby Downey officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
