Steve Robert Wright

Steve Robert Wright, age 65, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who had a big heart and loved everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Beatrice Wright; sisters, Mary (Dale) Kitts and Joyce; brothers, Charles (Linda) Wright and Jim Wright. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Wright; daughters, Tasha Hayes and Kayla Wright; grandchildren, Derric, Brandon, Brooke, Jayden, Klysta, Aleeyah, and Brooklyn; brothers, Don (Cindy) Wright, Bill Wright, Johnny Wright, Petie Wright, and Roy (Valerie) Lawson; and sister, Kathy Wright. The family would like to give a special thank you Brittany Johnson with Gentiva Hospice. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Thursday, June 12th at Liberty Community Cemetery.
