Sue Masengill Fox, age 86, of Morristown, received her full healing and entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, March 21, 2026. She was born to Colonel H.R. Masengill and Doris Case Masengill on December 11, 1939. Sue received her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Tennessee. They welcomed one daughter, Allison Case Fox on June 10, 1979. Sue was a wonderful and dedicated mother to Allison who was the light of her life. Sue loved watching Tennessee sporting events, spending time with her daughter, and going through life with her best friend, Peggy Standifer and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty six years, Tommy Fox; parents, Colonel H.R. Masengill and Doris Case Masengill; and her best friend of fifty four years, Peggy F. Standifer. Sue is survived by her loving daughter, Allison Case Fox; special friends, Steve Standifer (Peggy); Stacey and Joe Cobbett, Rob and Amy Jill Standifer; and surrogate grandchildren, Brynnan Cox, Carsyn Cobbett, Colton Cobbett, and Cavan Cobbett.
