Sue Ann (Carpenter) Seals

Sue Ann Seals, age 61, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was saved at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. She was a long-time employee of Mason Machinery and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Freda Carpenter; son, Gary Dwayne Hazelwood; and brothers, Buster Carpenter and Fred Carpenter. She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years, Roy Seals; son, Ronald Ray Hazelwood; daughter, Donna (Derrick) Mullins; grandchildren, Heather Hazelwood, Gary Hazelwood, and Christian Mullins; great-grandchild, Kameron Evans; brothers, Bruce (Katherine) Carpenter, Claude Carpenter, and Larry Carpenter; sisters, Maxine (Arnold) Hodge, Ruby (Leon) Nicely, Stella (Jerry) Seals, and Shirley (Terry) Brooks; mother-in-law, Ploma Seals; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, September 23 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Morgan and Rev. Truman Coffey officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 24 at Bent Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
