Sybal S. (Shepard) Bohanan

Sybal S. Bohanan, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Bohanan; parents, Hubert and Natalie Shepard; brother, Tommy Shepard; and sisters, Ruby Whitaker, Lena Jones, and Hazel Lovin. She is survived by her daughter, Revonda Bishop; son, Eddie (Elaine) Bohanan; grandchildren, Gina (Richard) Bare, Leann (Tony) Trent, Teresa (Tim) Trent, David (Joyce) Bishop, Deedra Donaldson, Jessica (Jake) Hyatt, Deana Matthews, and Eddie Matthews; great-grandchildren, Brittany Trent, Tiffany Harris, Derrick Bishop, Kristy Dixon, Morgan Kite, Mason Bare, and Landon Trent; great-great grandchildren, Hayden Trent, Ryliegh Trent, and Jackson Hyatt;; and sister, Liz Stevens. Special thanks to CCU nurses at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and to Amedisys Home Health. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services.
