Thelma "Tammy" Louise (Griffith) Mitchell

Thelma Louise “Tammy” Mitchell, age 61, of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Griffith; mother, Mary Owens; son, Brandon Cole; and sister, Holly Jen. She is survived by her husband, Ronny Mitchell; children, David Keith Cole, Tamron (Tara) Mitchell Heyboer, and LaChelle Saylor; grandchildren, Brandon, Brooklyn, Dylan and several more grandchildren; brother, Jerry Griffith; and sisters, Anna Elkins, Dana (Wesley) Kimbrough, and Missy Tapp. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Greg Causey officiating. Interment will follow at Dean Cemetery in Rogersville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
