Theresa Dorothy Ethel (Cloutier) Plankey

Theresa Plankey, age 89, of Morristown, passed away peacefully to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Rumford, Maine on January 2, 1930 and was a retired nurse. Theresa was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and she loved her faith all the way to the end of her life. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Plankey; children, Pamela (Larry) Webb, Kerry Monzel, Aloysius (Barbara) Monzel, Lloyd (Wanda) Plankey, and Diana (Stephen) Tlumach; sister, Rose Harvey; brother, Patrick Cloutier; Theresa had twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren which she loved dearly; special niece that she also loved dearly, Mary Ann Ashton; and many friends that she met along the way that she loved throughout her life. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday, November 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 8th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Patrick Brownell officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the East Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery in Knoxville. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
