Thomas “Tommy” Howard Long, age 63, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was retired from Hamblen County Solid Waste after thirty years. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard E. Long; mother, Imogene Lane; and sister, Kathy Stubblefield. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Suellen Long; sons, Mitchell Long and Michael Long; grandchildren, the apple of his eye, Makenzia Long and Matthew Long; sisters, Helen (David) Stuffel, Phyllis (Steve) Stuffle, and Priscilla (Curtis) Barnard; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Scott Vaughn officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 16th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
