Tracy Rogers, 59, of Talbott, Tennessee, passed away on November 21, at UT medical center after a short but hard battle. He was born June 20, 1961 to Carolyn (James) Moore and Tifford Rogers. He was saved at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church as a young boy and was a member at Browns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and he is now rejoicing with his lord and his savior. He loved his wife of 35 years, Debbie Rogers, but had a special love for his ‘little rats’ granddaughters Emelia and Isabella Flanary as well as his one and only Daddy’s girl, Heather Flanary. He also had special love and cherished his son, Jimmy Rogers. He will always be remembered as a loving, thoughtful man and a Jack of all trades that could fix anything. In addition to his parent’s, Tracy was also preceded in death by his brother, David (Paula) Rogers. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Heather (Billy Flanary) of Jonesborough, Tennessee and Jimmy (Ann) Rogers of Bean station; two sisters Kathy Rogers Davis and Shelia Russell of Morristown, two grandchildren, Emelia and Isabella Flanary; special family and friends Johnny and Georgia Greene and Ruth Ann and late JD Rogers of Morristown. He is also survived by several very special nieces, nephews, and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, November 24th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm Tuesday with Rev. Robbie McBee and Rev. Scott Noe officiating. Family and friends will meet for a 10 am graveside service on Wednesday, November 25th at Sartain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Family request mask be worn when attending service.
