Troy “Edsel” Keck, age 93, of Morristown, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at his residence. He was a long-time member of Manley Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Edsel was retired from the Farmer’s Co-Op after thirty-six years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Keck; brother, Voyd Keck;grandson, Seth Keck; and son-in-law, Ron Russell. He is survived by his children, Benny (Melody) Keck, Gail Russell, Karen (Lee) Jordan, and Kenny (Lori) Keck; grandchildren, John Mark (Sarah) Keck, Elissa (Jonathan) Hodge, Micah Keck, Rachel (Mike) Webber, Joey (Jessica) Fox, Rebekah Fox, Katie Jordan, Allie (Alex) Knox, Shelby Jordan, Natalie (John) Calandros, Elijah Keck, Noah Keck, Haven Keck, and Alivia Keck; great-grandchildren, Dixie, Azlee, Mason, Ezra, Ephriam, Ari, Leanna, Phillip, Jensen, Oaklynn, Olive, Cade, Blakely, Camellia, Alex, Adilyn, and Harper; brother, J.M. (Ruby Jean) Keck; sister-in-law, Joyce Keck; and several nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to caregiver, Mary Kady, the staff of Amedysis Hospice, and the VA. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, October 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Alan Duncan officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, October 8th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for military graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
