Wanda Campbell Samples, age 91, of Morristown, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown. Wanda was an amazing artist who loved sharing her talents with those around her. After she lost her ability to paint, she turned her desire to give to those in need by supporting charitable organizations across the country that helped children and animals. She shared her faith in God while serving alongside her husband who was a dedicated pastor and leader. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mason Campbell and Myrtle Coffey Lamb Campbell; husband, Rev. Ralph Vard Samples; and son, John Paul Samples. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to Ashley Hammer with Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for her compassionate care. While her presence will be missed, her “faith has become sight.” Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 14th at Jarnagin Cemetery for graveside services with Stacey Brickley Stockdale officiating. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
