Wayne Clabough, age 79, of Talbott, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025 at Serenity Hospice House. Wayne was led to the Lord by his beloved wife, Myra, as a teenager. He was a long-time active member of Alpha Baptist Church where he was active in several ministries all throughout his life. Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam, and was retired from UPS after thirty one years of service. He loved his family, church family, and UPS family. Wayne was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty eight years, Myra Clabough; and parents, Frank and Pearl Clabough. He is survived by his daughter, Angie Adams; son, Paris (Heather) Clabough; grandchildren, Nathan (Maggie) Clabough, Tyler (Haley) Adams, Colby (Taylor) Adams, and Abigail Clabough; brothers, Frank Clabough, Russell Clabough, and James Clabough; and sisters, Mary Lou Coward and Betty (Gary) Smith. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and to Serenity Hospice House. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24th at Alpha Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Heath Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25th at Hamblen Memory Gardens for military graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Serenity Hospice House: 421 N.
