Wayne Fox

Wayne Fox, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Charlsie Fox; brother, Robert Fox; and grandson, Aaron Fox. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Nellie Fox; children, Jeanie Ray, Roger (Leighann) Fox, Dennis Fox, and Michael Fox; grandchildren, Tonya (Pete) Kniffen, Allen (Kristi) Fox, Adam Stanifer, Meggan (Josh) Greene, and Halie and Harley Fox; great-grandchildren, Maddux Kniffen, Jaxon Kniffen, Kaiden, Rylea, and Rett Fox, and Luke and Stella Greene; brothers, Norman (Melissa) Fox, Gary (Lisa) Fox, and Curtis (Cindy) Fox; sister, Diane (Carroll) Jones and Debbie (Mike) Dickerson; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday, September 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, September 11th at Joseph’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Cocke County for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
