William “Bill” Frank, age 79, of Bean Station, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam, and he worked as a constable for Grainger County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of 1st Independent Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, William Thomas and Ada Jane Frank; mother, June Marie Frank; and father, Walter Wolfe. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Frank; sons, Jim (Ginni) Hamm, Michael (Catherine) Frank, Robert Frank, Kevin Frank, and Matthew (Billie Jo Byrd) Frank; step- daughter, Samantha (John) Hopkins; brothers, Thomas Collette and Scott Wolfe; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Myers and Rev. Clifford Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Friday, October 18th at 1st Independent Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
