William “Bill” I. Marsh, age 81, formerly of Fayetteville and Atlanta Georgia, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at Life Care Center of Morristown. Bill was born on December 8, 1943 in Whittier, California. He was married to Morristown native, Nellene Hartman Davis for fifty eight years. Bill graduated from Western New Mexico University with a BA degree in Mathematics. He also played on the tennis team for Western New Mexico University. Bill held a Masters degree in Math Education from the University of Alabama. Bill and his wife, Nellene, spent the majority of their careers in public education in Fayetteville, Georgia. He was a mathematics teacher at Morrow High School from 1979 – 2002. He spent many years as Regional Vice President of the Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Bill was a longtime Mason and past editor of the Atlanta Scottish Rite News. Bill retired in 2002. In 2009, Bill and his wife, Nellene, moved from Fayetteville to Atlanta to live at Lenbrook Retirement Community. While at Lenbrook, they compiled the Lenbrook resident directory and made many friends. Bill and Nellene traveled extensively to many countries and U.S. National parks during their retirement years. Bill is survived by his wife, Nellene Marsh. No services will be scheduled. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
