Willie Nell (Martin) Newman

Willie Nell Newman, age 82, of Morristown, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at her residence. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nip Newman; parents, Odis and Imogene Martin; son, Donnie Newman; brother, Jimmie Martin; and sister, Jewel “Babe” Smith. She is survived by her son, Buddy (Connie) Newman; brother, Dewey “Snooks” (Ellen) Martin; grandson, Chad (Amber) Newman; great-granddaughter, Isla; and sister, Margaret Smith. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 26th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Debbie Carroll speaking. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 27th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for graveside services.  Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
