Willie "Junior" Norman Yount

Willie N. “Junior” Yount, age 77, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Willie was saved at an early age and was a member of Cool Branch Missionary Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Hamblen County Car Club and was retired from Woodcraft. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mildred Yount; and sisters, Euna Vee (C.J.) Odom and Argeline (Lillard) Dalton. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Marie Yount; sons, Norman (Lorie) Yount of Kodak and David (Angela) Yount of Morristown; grandchildren, Brad Yount, Corbin Yount, Ava Yount, and Josh Moore; and sister, Geraldine (Lowell) Wilder. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, October 15th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Porterfield and Rev. Larry Wolfe officiating. Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 16th at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
