Wilson Hain Obituary

Wilson C. Hain, age 84, of Morristown, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026 at Serenity Hospice House. He was greeted by the Lord and Savior and many family members. He was a member of Manley Baptist Church. He and his wife, Joan, spent thirty-nine years praying for the many children that they called their own in Belize and Haiti. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Hain Lilly; his wife, Joan Hain; brothers, Jimmy Lilly, Paul Lilly, and Darrell Lilly; and his grandson, Anthony Yount. He is survived by his daughters, Debby Hain Petko and Robin Hain Mehaffey (Chuck); sons, Richard Hain, Clifford Hain, and Ronny Hain (Rita); fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Hain of Texas; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Craven and Forrest Tucker of Charleston, SC; sisters-in-law, Peggy Lilly and Kim Lilly; and many other family members and dear friends. Special thanks to Serenity House, Smoky Mountain Hospice, Synergy, Terry and Judy McLemore, Rob and Serena Bieze, and Ron Dietz. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28th in the old sanctuary of Manley Baptist Church. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home to go in procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for a graveside funeral service with Pastor Frankie Wade and Pastor Ben Garrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Manley Baptist Church, Carla Jennings for Belize and Dwaine Evans for Haiti, or the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital of Greenville, SC. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
