I didn't get the chance to get to know you very well. But from the very first time I met you I knew you had a huge heart. I could tell your children ment the world to you. And that you took much pride in your work. Everything you done you done you gave it all you had. You was easy to talk to and tried to spread your cheer on to everyone you were around. You was honest and extremely talented. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. God bless and watch over you children. And be with your family in this difficult time.

I wanted to express condolences to Brent's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when our loved ones die. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helped me. Prayer is so valuable at a time like this, but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor. 4:7 says that God can give us, "...power beyond what is normal", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means that we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28,
"...all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out". Jesus was referring to the resurrection; this is our hope that helps us recover and gives us power to go on. 2 Cor. 1:3 describes our Creator as, "...the God of all comfort". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. My prayer is that God (Ps. 83:18) grant you peace and comfort now during this time of sorrow.

My heartfelt sympathy to your family during this time of grieving. Please know that you have the support and love from each and every one of your friends and family. I did not get to know Buddy so I know that I missed the opportunity to love him right along with you and for that I am sorry. I ask God to send peace to you and yours.
