Elmer Morris Cope, age 95, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab Center. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Cope; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, December 11 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 12 at the funeral home with Dr. Larry Parrott officiating. Interment will follow at Sunderland Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
