Stanley Dane “Stan” Potter, age 61, of Morristown, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Dorothy Potter; and brothers, David Wayne and Kenneth R. Potter. He is survived by his life-mate of over thirty years, Pam Crain; sister, Teresa (Mike) Dixon; nieces, Renee Bray, Amber Potter, Kelly Vokas, and April Booth; and nephews, David Burgin and Benjamin Burgin. He was an exceptional piano player who was deeply loved by his nieces and nephews as well as his “cat” family. He will be remembered for his love of family and music as well as his ever-present sense of humor. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, January 20 at Bethesda Cemetery for graveside services. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
