Deborah Eller Carpenter Edsberg, age 91, of Talbott, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Heritage Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Crusaders for Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred F. and Belle Skeen Eller; first husband, Aldon H. Carpenter; second husband, John A. Edsberg; and sister, Bessie Eller Fannon. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Glenn) Berger; son, Boyd (Glenda) Carpenter; grandchildren, Michael Todd (Beth) Berger, Matthew (Nikki) Berger; Joshua Carpenter, and David Carpenter; step-granddaughter, Melinda Newsome; great-grandchildren, Neva (Russell) Foust, Michael Berger, Garrett Berger, triplets, Elaina, Charleston, and Pressley Berger, Jonah Carpenter, Dawson Carpenter, and Shelby Carpenter; great-great granddaughter, Cora Foust; step-great granddaughter, Cheyenne Newsome; sisters, Leora Drummonds, Essie Hurst, Jessiephine Reed of Point Pleasant, and Dorothy “Cookie” Roberts of Greer, South Carolina; brothers, Ray (Irene) Eller of Franklin, Ohio and Johnny (Odessa) Eller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to ALPS and the nurses at Heritage Center. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 p.m. Wednesday, November 1 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Henegar officiating. Interment will follow at Sunderland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to ALPS Daycare Center. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
