Eva M. (Pat) Rose, age 91, of Morristown, passed to Heaven Friday, July 22, 2016 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital after a July 19th heart attack.
Although she was always "Mom," she was also our teacher of life, trusted friend, advisor, and family anchor. She loved Jesus and her home church, Cherokee Hills Baptist.
She was preceded in death by husband, Floyd C. Rose. Also by her father and mother, David (Tom) Oliver and Anna L. Oliver; sister, Katherine Hanks; and brothers, Tom, Phil, and Bob Oliver.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Janice) Rose of Morristown and John (Deanna) Rose of Knoxville; grandson, Mike Rose of Knoxville; and sister, Betty Lutz of White Pine; as well as many nieces, nephews, special friends, and neighbors.
Special thanks to her caregiver, Margie Musick and to the CCU nurses and staff at M-H Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, July 25 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Nathan Livingston officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
