Karen Tawana Goins White, age 61, of Morristown, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her residence. Karen was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of East High Hurricanes and attended Walters State Community College. Karen was a loyal fan of U.T. Volunteers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Christine Cunningham; and father James Wilson. She is survived by sisters, Marletta Goins, Terri Maxwell, Donna Martin, and Jamesena Wilson; brothers, Steve Cunningham, David Cunningham, and Bobby Wilson of Morristown; step children, Tony Brice and Whitney White; Uncle, John Patton; aunts, Roberta Patton of Morristown; Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Billy Davis and Rev. Joseph Senter officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Family and friends may also call at the home of Donna Cunningham Martin.
