Morris Keith Coffey, age 61, of Morristown, born July 25, 1955, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence after a brief illness. He was saved at an early age. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Clara Coffey; and infant son, Hollis Lee Coffey. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita (Ramsey) Coffey; daughter, Sasha Ellison and her husband, David; sons, Dennis Coffey and Scotty Coffey; grandchildren, Ronin Ellison, Athena Ellsion, and twins, Ares and Raidin Ellison; sister, Brenda (J.R.) Coffey of Rogersville; brothers, Wayne (Bessie) Coffey, Paul (Teresa) Coffey, Rick (Lisa) Coffey of Sneedville,and Shortie Coffey of Thorn Hill; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Lydall Welch officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 30 at McDaniel Cemetery in Thorn Hill for graveside services.
